New School Year, New FCA

The start of the school year always has the excitement of new clothes, new school supplies, new teachers, and new friends. FCA has the same excitement. FCA is in the process of launching a new Chaplain Program! For years, FCA has focused on having large group meetings called Huddles. Though huddles will remain a focus for FCA, we are now going to try and implement the Chaplain Program as well.

The Chaplain Program will provide each school with students that serve as Chaplains for their school's athletics program. By having several students serving as chaplains we will be able to provide more services to each sport within the school. Corydon High School has been implementing this program for the past two years and it has been a great success. In addition to having weekly huddle meetings, a chapel service is offered for each sport at least twice throughout the year. This gives athletes from cheerleading to basketball an opportunity to come together as a team and learn more about Christ.

We are looking forward to FCA reaching deeper into our schools and touching the lives of more athletes. If you would like more information about this Chaplain Program, please contact Tammy at tammymorgan@fca.org.
